About

Columbia Asset Management is a real estate development and management company with a unique vision for developing residential and commercial properties of substance. Initially focused on development, Columbia acquired and renovated historic apartment buildings in South Beach’s Flamingo Park neighborhood and converted many of it’s residential units into condominiums. Columbia further expanded into commercial properties when it acquired, restored and converted the then boarded up historic Regal apartment building into a multi-tenanted office building. Columbia’s meticulous restoration of the Regal was recognized when it was presented with the City of Miami Beach beautification award by then City of Miami Beach Mayor David Dermer. Continuing with it’s expansion into commercial properties, Columbia later acquired both the historic Anthony building along the Clematis Street corridor of West Palm Beach and commercial properties along Northwood Road in the historic Northwood Village neighborhood of West Palm Beach.
Columbia was founded in 1990 by its President, Andrew Gale. Andrew received his Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and his Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York.
